Hi, just built my new rig and currently has 2GB of ram in it running 32-bit Vista. Im thinking of upgrading the ram to 4gigs but do not know which to choose from. One i really like has lower timings, in anyway is that better?

Which of the two are better?

I have an Asus board and it is known the OCZ rams are not stable with some or most Asus boards, but i would like to try it out. I would preferarably like to own the OCZ but the G.skill is fine!

Any replies would be greatly appreaciated! :)

too bad they dont sell them down here in Aus.. well where i live! But thanks for the offer :) i will look mre into other RAMs before i make my purchase. Any more suggestions?

Didnt know you were in Australia. Just look for some G Skill/Corsair/Crucial/Kingston, even PNY and Patriot are good brands. With low timming and Voltage

That's ok mate wasn't blaming ya for anything, but now i know what to look for in a RAM thanks mate once again!

Yeah you will see some that have low timming but running like 2.2V. They just jack the Voltage up to get better timming.

You know I have heard that before with OCZ and Asus boards. Never experienced it myself, dont buy alot of OCZ memory.

It could just be a bunch of didnt boot to the right timming/voltage Blah Blah Blah stuff that could be fixed manually.

I heard it from some members on this forum ( not naming) but yea im heading for some G.skills if not maybe Dominators or Plats
