Mid to upper 30's idle and never broke 60c running Prime95.

Heard the Coolermaster V8 and V12 was good,Dont have one myself though

I am running an core i7 920 with the stock heatsink. Stock should be okay unless you are planning on over clocking or have some custom installation that requires it.
