to liquid cool or not

ok well i was wondering how much more performance does the liquid cooling system give. i dont really want to get this whole big intricate system and then only get a little gain. also... how does it have to be main tained?

Yes, liquid cooling has to be maintained. From what i've heard you need to change the water once a month.

Air cooling is much easier to maintain, and you dont have to worry about having leaks. I would buy some nice fans and use them instead.

if your going to buy that comp i would stick with the water cooling that comes with it because it is already in place and as bigsauce said its perfectly designed for the system. As for overclocking, its pointless, the gains are minimal, it ruins your hardware and it costs too much to cool properly...you might as well spend the money on faster hardware instead of spending money on trying to cool the stuff you have.

I wouldnt say that, alot of people can overclock very high on stock cooling without needing to get better fans.

My opinion is that a cooling system is an extreme waste of money for the output. From what i've experienced it's only lowered my comps temp by 4-6 degrees which isn't that important unless you are a serious gamer... I would stick to using a couple 120mm fans because one it is cheaper and two I dont think you will be running your system hard enough to need a cooling system. Just my opinion hope it helped.

I've seen some fans on newegg and xoxide that are 130mm fans, but they fit in the same spot as a 120mm fan does. It has a CFM of around 55.4, and is only 16dbA. So they have extremely good air flow, and are really quiet.

And it also depends on what comp. you have. If your rollin' a $500+ computer, you probably want to cool it so it doesnt die within the first few months. But if you have some POS comp, you probly wont care too much.

I would suggest that you buy a better PSU than the "standard case PSU" (450 Watt) that comes with it. They are usually cheap and tacky, and can break easily - which may damage other components at the same time.

Also, why don't you get the black coloured CD-RW/DVD-RW Drive? It'll blend in better with the black case you've chosen ;)

those are the stock configs on that link.... when you link the computer with the changes youve made it jsut goes to how it is stock... but based on that computer.... i dont think i want the water cooling system... but if its free...
