I have a special request. My motherboard's ATX 12v socket is burnt and needs a replacement. I called Intel but my warranty has expired, so it's useless. The ATX 12v socket cannot be bought elsewhere (Ive tried looking everywhere in town).

So, I am willing to buy one of your ATX 12 socket (If you have a spare motherboard). We can discuss the price laster on. I live in the US. Please reply here, thanks a lot!

edit:
Here is a pictuer of the square 4-pin ATX 12v socket.

Lemme guess, the 100 post rule is only for selling, right? Why would anybody delete this thread? He needs help, and that is what is necessary.

You could strip the wires and solder them onto the connector :D However, that would be a little difficult, but it would work.

I considered what to do with this thread earlier. Since he is looking to buy and not sell, I decided to leave it since there's nothing against the rules about that.

wasiu0607 has been contacting me through MSN to solve this problem, while I recommended a new board rather than going down this route, there's nothing wrong with him trying, as he knows a technician of some description that could help him solder.
