tom clancy hawx demo

i played for 15 seconds then i realized i didnt have full 3d control over the plane, and it was very unrealistic. uninstalled
 
No. The gameplay, and the physics have no originality in it. It's like they incorporated NFS physics for this game except that it's in the air. Especially when you disable that control thing and you fly like you're in RTS mode. It's stupid. You can pull huge amounts of G's that would of killed you irl.
 
gonna get the demo anyway. If its as bad as it sounds, then im gonna be mad. The ppl on G4 made it seem SO sweet!!

yeah that was complete crap, once you leave the cockpit view and go into that outside the plane mode it is extremely frustrating to get the plane to do what you want it to do while you are shooting the drones. overall i was pretty disappointed with the demo, it should have all been cockpit view
 
No;.... sounds like you guys arent diggin it :(

I had high hopes for this game =/ Installing now though to experience what could be utter disappointment first hand.

i hope you like it... cause i sure as hell didn't :(

i think the gameplay is something people will either love or hate.
 
Well im not an avid FSX player so hopefully that will help me. :P
I probably coulnt handle it if it was very realistic haha.

We'll see, almost done DLing.
 
This game is extremely disappointing.
Once you get past the original oohs and aahs of the graphics, you realize that its darn close to fly the plane and straight up impossible to shoot down others. I couldnt make it through training. I would loose control of the plane and coulndt keep the targets in sight long enough to shoot them. The biggest issue is that they force you to fly from this 3rd person camera thats a ways outside the plane. The camera cannot be moved and 80% of the time, youre flying towards the camera and cannot see where youre going.

I tried to take a screenshot but it wasnt working :(

This game is gonna tank. Which is a bummer cause the graphics are absolutely stunning (I was in DX10) but if you cant control the plane through training, imagine trying to shoot down someone online (whos also gonna be completely out of control). Other than the amazing scenery, this game is a complete mess.
