Too big to sit in front of.

I am thinking about getting a 24" monitor. Bigger is better right? Anyway It will sit at a normal desktop. So I will be right in front of it. Is this to close for a monitor of this size? I was hoping some of you guys had a 24" monitor that you sit in front of and could give me your opion. Thanks
 
I don't have a 24 in monitor, i have a 19'',but I've been to Costco, Office Depot, Fry's, and other placesn where they sell monitors on display. A 24 in, in my opinion, isn't too bad. But i think my sweetspot would be a 22'', but I'd go for a 24 if it is in your budget.
 
I have a 24" and I love it. Its perfect. I can do so much multi-tasking on it, and in games, its so big that it adds to the immersion of the game, while not being so big that I have to turn my head/look around to see everything. Its perfect and I love it, lol, hope that helps. If you are looking for one, check out the one in m sig, its affordable without losing quality, and the monitor itself looks jut as nice as the picture it displays. I looovvveee ittt.

I've comfortably used a 32" on a PC, it's not really that bad, as long as your eyes are in a strait line (your not straining your neck to look at it) and your at a fair distance away from it, you get a pretty awesome computing experience.

And of course I've used 24" widescreens, and it's just the same, position your self correctly, and you'll have a great experience

I love it. Its so weird to use more "standard" sized monitors since I'm so used to mine. Like when I use my parents comp, or the ones at school its like damn, this monitor is really small...I can see whats behind the monitor...weird...lol
