Too Hot?

I've had my processor overclocked to 3.0Ghz for a few weeks with the stock fan. So I just now checked my temp. and I dont know if its to high. So is it? All my info is in the signature and I attached the image from SpeedFan

Thats kind of high for idle (i think) but i believe thats an okay load temp

its been on all day and i just got on from it sitting and opened a few messenger programs and firefox.

That's high.Use some cooling solution.

See what bios says, try TAT or Coretemp... if thats idle thats very high. But it could just be speedfan reading it wrong

all temps are pretty much saying the same thing. im just gonna slow my processor down, til i buy a new cpu fan

Well... i wouldn't think OC'ed should even be that high. Are you sure the heatsink is seated properly?

Yeah, that is very high indeed! What temps did Core Temp or TAT say it was at?

If that's idle, it isn't good. I'd downclock it a bit, like you said, wait to get a better cooler, or try what ThatGuy said and make sure the HSF is seated properly.
