Too many ads - a negative?

Hello all,

Not sure if this is operate here so sorry mods!

I am tempted to add more ads to our site (8 of us!!!), but is too many ads really a bad thing since they generate a load of money!!! Do you think ads is appropriate for the site above? Our audience is students.

There are more ads on other pages.

LOL Your right. But i just want to include the ads in the design stage so that everything can be integrated!

btw, What do you think of the website now?

No offense but there's not a whole lot of content to comment on. I would place some Google adsense text ads or something vertically on the left under navigation if I were you, they wouldn't look half bad there.

I thought google ads would make the site look cheap...i don't know why thats just my feeling. what do you think?

I've added more content to the first page....not bad now?

if they frame the page that is annoying, i dont mind non invasive ads like the on on this forum but ones that pop up full screen and darken the page so you have to close them or those bloody annoying ones that talk like smiley central are not on.
