I've just recently had to format my C drive and reinstall windows after I found my PC riddled with viruses. In a fluster, I put in my old Dell XP disk from an old machine instead of my newer XP professional disk. The Dell disk didn't install because of a problem with the hardare configuration, which is fine because I've installed Pro on there instead. Problem is though, when I turn the machine on now, I have to pick between the old XP Home, and the new Pro. Is there anyway I can remove the XP without a total format? It seems the format when I installed the Pro didn't wipe the XP Home. Also if you pick Home when booting up, I get the same error about it not being instaled due to hardware configoration problems.
