Too many programs running?

When I was running wow, I had a MS worksheet up, and started vent. When I came back to wow with those 2 running, i notieced my FPS dropped from regular 60 to 4 to 10. Can my proc not handle that many programs? AMD +3500.
 
Unless something is horribly wrong, a CPU isnt gonna save you from 80%+ performance drop
 
#1 probably not a cpu problem, probably not enough ram! i almost guarantee it was trying to run WoW from your hard drive...
#2 intel is not always better at multitasking! AMD knows what theyre doing and as of right now theyre ahead of intel!
#3 dell != intel! sure, they sell comps with intel procs but the fact that it has a dell has nothing to do with how well it multitasks!
