Too much reserved ram

It's reserving 1.3gb and it only needs like a few hundred MB reserved how do I fix it? The check box maximum memory thing didn't work. This is an HP pavillion notebook 15 Windows 10 with AMD 64bit OS

It used to only use a bit over 500 mb

What kind of reserved are we talking? If it's hardware reserved then it's sectioning a chunk of RAM off for the iGPU

How can I change that yes it is hardware reserved I used to have 3.19gb avalible now it's 2.7 and I have no clue why

Yes for my graphics memory it's too high and BIOS doesn't have a option to change it

If it is fixed at a level then it must be for good reason.

What makes you say it only needs x amount reserved?

What size memory do you have in total? What are you running? Where is the info coming from?
