Tool to get framerate

Is there a tool that can tell you the framerate of .mpg files and stuff?

in wmp just click file>properties, that should bring up most of the info about the clip

That doesnt work, tried it, can get its length its bit rate and that. But not frame rate.

Anyone else knows something? Like an application that could say what the framerate is?

*EDIT: Okay, so I found GSpot, but this only works for .avi files. This kind of application is actually what I'm looking for, so if anyone knows one that will work with .mpg aswell, that would be nice.

I have Gspot, had it for ages. But I thought it only said what type of codec as used on the file. was funny when my dad once went on my computer and looked through programmes and files and stuff. And he saw G Spot he thought it was some kind of porno lol.

AVICodec will do the job (hell it hink FRAPS might too if you're running with hardware accel)

Glad to help, if you're finding out in order to do encoding and stuff, make sure you adhere to standards:
- PAL: 25hz
- NTSC: 23.976 and 29.97
