Top 10 AMD processors?

FX-62
FX-60
X2 5000
X2 4800
X2 4600
X2 4400
X2 4200
X2 4000
X2 3800
A64 4000 or X2 3500

I don't know where Optys factor into that, but nobody really uses them anyway for a regular computer, so who cares

What?!!

Many people use Optys for gaming rigs and things like that, there great overclockers and thats why people get drawn to them.

And BTW... X2 3500?

i guess he didn't mean to write X2
because there is 4000 single core and 3500 of course is single

There are no AM2 Optys, that is why I really didn't include them.

i wus under the impression that the X2 5000 was better then the FX-60... o well...

It might be (if so, then only slightly) in stock performance. But the FXes are all incredible overclockers.

you could build a better system using a 5000 then using a 60
cus they better platform offers a increase... not a huge increase, but when u put in the better mobos, the best ram, it will be better then the best u can do with a 60

generally dual core has no real disadvantage besides price... but most games only use one core as of right now. quake 4 uses two cores, normally 75%-100% of my cpu, i know that.
