I noticed Suprnova.org is down (again! ) I started to crawl the web and look what I found:

Thats quite a good resource, but half of the sites on there aren't very good. The best (probably the only good) bittorrent sites run 'private trackers' because it is obligatory that people share, whereas places like SuprNova are just overrun by leechers who cap their uploads at 3KB/s. I am of course referring to sites on the list like torrentbits.org

www.pgactorrents.com < you have to register, but that way they can keep an eye on the leeches.

another good site is www.torrentbox.com

bit.torrent is the future IMO, most if the files are what they say they are and the choice is excellent, the d/l speed is quite good too.

Exactly, you just need to know where to go Not everywhere is like SuprNova, and like you say registration sites are the way to keep track of leechers and prevent leeching which only serves as good for everyone.

They are pretty similar when your max d/l speed is ~50KB/s
