Toshiba A660 power issue

I have a Toshiba A660 that shuts off on its own like its forcing a hard start.

I ran Orthos core on the proccesor and it past like 100 times before hard starting on its own.

I replaced the HD with a new one and fresh install and still it does it.

I ordered a mother board thinking it was the problem. NOPE> Same issue.

The mother board had a new power jack attached to the board so I know its not a power issue there or with the power cord.I tried it with a different cord and still same results.

It does it even in battery mode without a cord.

I am stumped at this point.

If its shutting off its most likely overheating. Have you checked that out?

First thing. The thing is running cool.

I think john is right on this one man if you just do a Google search it returns a lot of results on overheating issues. Have you run a program against it to tell you what the temps are? If the gpu is overheating you may not even know it. The case doesn't always get too hot. Does the windows event viewer show any errors? Does it just shut down like its out of power or do you see any errors on screen?
