hi i have a toshiba qosmio-x505-q894 which has been randomly shutting off without warning just turns off black screen, happened when i do work like 3d animation or video editing, or skype high memory stuff i had a look at the temperature and it was hot 100 c when i was doing 3d work so i got some compressed air and cleaned out the air vents removed alot of dust and its running tons cooler like 60c/70x max but still turning off i also have a bad battery which needs replacing but i removed it and just have it on charge always i also did memtest86 over night and no errors there, i used crystal dick info and it said my hd was 41 c and health was good and also did hot cpu tester scan and had no errors, im thinking the inside is still over heating maybe it doesnt feel hot to touch but dunno
