My laptop screen is dead and im trying to figure out whats wrong. My laptop powers on and the fans, lights, dvd drive, etc work but my screen wont work. When i connect it to an external screen nothing happens tried this on both the vga output and s-video niether worked. The laptop screen itself is fine swapped it with my sisters who has the same laptop as me and it worked fine. I dont know if my mobo got fried or if its just the screen connector on the mobo. The battery works and so does the power cord. As i said all lights turn on and fans, etc so this one is really confusing me. If any one has any ideas any help is appreciated.
