toshiba satellite m30 wireless issue

Hi guys

I have a toshiba satellite m30 laptop and am trying to conect to a new virgin broadband network which is the 40meg, i beleive my wireles card is intel pro wireless lan 2100 3b mini pci adapter and i also believe that it is wep and the virgin network is wpa, is there anyway of installing a driver to overcome this?

I am running xp pro and am about to install sp3.

This shouldn't be a problem

The laptop is new enough that the card should support that type of encryption.

Get the most updated drivers (Search google, or toshiba website) and make sure you are configuring the wireless properly. Go into advanced settings and set the encryption type for that specific network to WPA
