hey guys, got a toshiba satellite m35x that does not power up with the power plug plugged in. it does show the green indicator light that its getting power to the board and that its plugged in. and also a green light for the battery, but when i push the power button it does not startup. i really hope its not anything on the motherboard because taking apart laptops is a pain. but i may have no choice. let me know any ideas, thanks!!

from what i've seen in my job thats either a mainboard (or charger board depending on the construction of the system) or a battery problem. Try using the system without the battery in or if you can try another battery just to rule it out.

well, something funny happened, just as my luck permits, i was taking all the screws out of the bottom of the laptop, and sure enough i stripped 2 of them out, any ideas as to how to get the stripped screws out of there, i tried supergluing a bit to the screw, but it didnt work. i really dont want to bust out the dremel and mollest it..
