Toshiba with Vista

Hello All,
I recently received a laptop from work. It's a Toshiba Satellite L305-S5877. The laptop came with Vista Home Premium but I want to put either Vista Business or XP Pro on it.

If I deciced to go with XP Pro, do you foresee any problems with drivers? I've heard people say that there can sometimes be driver problems of you go from a factory installed Vista to XP.

Your thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Check the manufacturer website to see if they have XP drivers. If so, you shouldn't have a problem.

One other thing to consider is if you decide to switch the OS, do you have access to any software that's required for your work? Also, make sure that you have a way to reinstall the OS when you return the lappy. The IT department at my old job had a fit when I returned my company issued laptop with all of the "Vix custom mods." It was F-A-S-T, but they still weren't impressed.
 
Yeah, just visited their site and it seems most drivers are for Vista. I'll get a copy of business and install it.

By the way, I love this laptop!
