touch sensitive keyboard

has a touch sensitive keyboard been invented yet? it'd be a little harder to use, but, i would much rather have one. the sounds of keys being pressed drives me insane.

that looks freakin cool. but that's not what i mean. i mean a solid keyboard, made of sensors than sense pressure (like the power and reset switch on the ps3.....or a pda i guess).

yeah i get it...
umm im sure they have...
you could get a touch screen and use the onscreen keyboard :D

EDIT: Im sure you could find a quiet keyboard. The new apple keyboards look sweeet. I havent seen them yet IRL

There are the quiet-press keyboards and such. Though one thing, I'm not sure how true this is, but I hear they really throw you off, not hearing the click and what not.

I'm a bit confused, how would a touch sensitive keyboard change the loudness of the clicks? It's something that could be used in games for instance to determine how fast to move.

THe clicking sound wakes my parents up when im playing late at night.

Thats never good when they come out at 1 am and thought you went to bed at 10 hehe.

lol my parents are over in the house I live in the addition
I'm in my room.
I like the clicks of the keyboard. They are soothing. I think it's funny when you play on a huge keyboard like the G15, then go down to a smaller keyboard, and you are always typing with your hands in the wrong place.

o yeah. i have that laser keyboard... really cool. it is nice but they should be a new one coming soon. also the laser one. you cant rest your palm on it or it thinks your pressing keys. but it is nice for a pda or something

oh, a laptop keyboard. those make so much less noise. but, still touch sensitive, the only think you would here is your finger tapping it, and you can easily press lightly enough to not here much of anything

they don't make a lot of noise but most of them aren't full size so if u use a regular keyboard its hard to type on them

This is going to replace the standard computer in a few years. Saw this in person at an electronics Expo. Pretty sweet. Love the cable-less connections. Can't imagine what kind of games they will come out with for this. I'm sure in 20 years we'll be able to get more into holigram projection computers as it becomes more affordable for the average consumers.

Hope this info helps! Have a good one.

Just have light music on, close the door, and if you are a good typist put the keybaord under a blanket. If you'r parents wake up from the keyboard are you pounding it, in thier room and/or just on a type-writer-like keyboard?
