Touchpad or External Mouse: which do you prefer?

Which one do you like more or are better with. I prefer the mouse when possible. Have a usb bluetooth one and one with a receiver.

I don't know whether I'm heavy handed or what, but using the touchpad I seem to open everything before I get to where I want to be

both of them, when i had bought my notebook it was very hard to work with the touchpad but now im very fast with it. and it also faster than mouse sometimes.
acer notebooks touchpads are great, you can scrol down, up, left, right, double click with just moving your finger in especial ways.

If you're asking which we use, I use both. If I'm at my desk, I'm using my mouse. If I'm out somewhere or have my laptop in bed, I use the touch pad.

acer notebooks touchpads are great, you can scrol down, up, left, right, double click with just moving your finger in especial ways.

Mine on my toshiba (dual mode) is awesome though i still prefer a mouse. right, left, up, down scroll, highlight with a double tap(dont have to push button), volume control, 3 program one tap shortcuts(ie FF, AIM, and Musicmatch), one tap print, wireless configure, and email of your choice. Very functional.
