alright this should be my last question lol, my cpu waterblock on the surface of the cpu block that touches the processer it is alot wider then the cpu, do i put thermal paste covering the whole cpu block even if it goes in the air a bit or do i just put thermal paste on the processor spread it then put the block on it.I hope this dosn't sound confusing

It's the same as when you put on a traditional heatsink and fan. You put a small amount on the center of the processor, not much bigger then a grain of rice. The water block will spread it out evenly on the part that touches the processor, theres no need or use for putting the thermal paste on the part that does not touch the CPU.

the thermal paste that came with my water block i was trying to figure out how to use it so i pushed the lil stick all the way and it all came out coes i didnt know i had to pull it but the waterblock was in the way, it has been sitting and i think there is to much so i took it all off and im just gonna put the one that came with the q6600
