Track data usage

My dad has a wifi card, with a 5GB bandwidth limit. i want to pay for 1 GB. However, I need to be able to track that. Any ideas?

Details:

Do you have to be able to switch it in and out of computers? Do you get the first gig then he finishes it? Will it be in one computer? Or do you each have one?

That would help. If you each have computers, there is probably a free app that counts your data usage and you could just use that. Otherwise, it will take a bit of looking into.

soz bout that.

Its just a little card, just sits there. up to 5 computers connect. my on mine, him on his, whatever. I would use my own. And no, it wouldn't be i get mine first, then he gets his, cause itll take me about a month to use that :P

So I just want the free app, but cant seem to find one....yes I googled it, but all they give me is bullshit!!

I use a program just to keep an eye on my internet usage daily/monthly called net limiter its a good program that monitors the bandwidth being used of the connection and logs it in the program this should do the trick.

When i had mobile broadband, the program that installed with the driver gave you data usage stats. maybe you could check the account online?

Thanks HSV, Ill check that out.

Linkin, I can track the data usage like that, but it only tells me the general usage, not the amout that I personally used. Like I said multiple people use it.
