Trackmania Nations Forever Help

So... I downloaded it from steam (free ). Go to my games to play it (after download is complete) and click. I get a fancy box asking if I want to play or change the settings. It doesnt matter which i choose, once I click okay, the box goes away and nothing happens.

Why wont it start

I have the same question with some other applications. Things just never start!!

And I just noticed that the word "guys" is the most mispelled! I usually do "gusy" instead!

That's happened to me once but I think it was just because my PC was running VERY slow that day.

Make sure that the resolution is set right, just a theory, but it has happened to me before.

I friend of mine had to download d3dx9_30.dll. Then after putting it in the system folder it all worked.

What resolution should I be at? I use 1280x1024 and then 1024x768 for games

I think It's steams fault, because I was having the same problem when I tried running it through Steam. So just use the shortcut on the desktop.
