Transfering files from old PC to new PC

Ok, so I've upgraded, the new PC is coming in soon

Now, my question is, what is the best way to transfer files over? I just learnt that my new motherboard doesn't support IDE, it's all SATA. And only 1 HDD (I have two) in my old PC is SATA, and that's my boot drive.

Two SATA boot drives ain't going to boot is it?

An alternative is yes, both will have a LAN port but erm, I only have 1 monitor/keyboard/mouse. So one PC won't even boot for me to do a transfer will it?

Now I do not wish to spend all day when the new computer arrives to have to transfer everything 2GB at a time using my flash drive... as that will also mean...
1) Turn on old PC, add as much as I can to my 2GB flash drive
2) Turn off old PC, turn on new PC, unload...
3) Turn off new PC, turn on new PC, load more stuff...
4) Repeat... repeat... repeat... 50x

So... help! :(

Ok thanks!
So it's pretty much just plug in my HDD to the adapter, and the adapter to the USB port... and walla eh? That easy?

I have the Rosewill also. Works and came with a rubber boot to go around the hd. Nice cooler. Lot better than the enclosed plastic cases i think. it will get you by for portable and storage.
