My friend has a mac that is very good for video editing. He made a video using the program IMovie and he wants to get me a copy. His DVD burner isn't working so he wants to send the video to me so i can burn it. I run windows XP media center. Does a mac save a video file the same way as a windows. Can he attach the file to an email and send it to me or does he have to convert it into a format for windows . If so how do you do this. Help is appreciated.

if it's a video with iMovie it won't be a simple 10MB - rather a few 100-1000MB

he might have to export it to a windows format. or it might save as quicktime.
