Transferring things from PC to Mac

Tomorrow I am getting a older imac DV, but it has a lot of RAM and is running OS X. I have a lot of e-mails. Right now I have 3 user accounts set up. I have a flash drive. How should I transfer everything without spending 4 hours trying to do it?

Setup a network with file sharing, if possible. And drag all your stuff to the shared folder. It is way faster than transferring everything with a flash drive. As for the accounts, I dont know. If you have a bunch of bookmarks in Firefox then, use a extension called Foxmarks. It lets you save your bookmarks onto the website and you can download them on any computer that has that extension! It is great for backing up all your bookmarks incase something happens and for transfering them.

I may stick to the flash drive. But, I do have a router so maybe that would make it easier. Thanks for telling me about that extension. Once I accidentally deleted firefox a few months ago and lost all of my bookmarks. I just downloaded it and it is running great. Wish I knew about it sooner.

well, as for the 3 user accounts you will have to create 3 separate user accounts on the Mac, it's pretty much like windows.
and g25racer said you can setup a network it will be easier if you don't have backup devices like externals

It is running Thunderbird. There is not as many e-mails as I thought. It should only take a few minutes. Wish me Luck!
