Triple Monitor Question

I want to run three monitors. I have the onboard video ports and an nVidia 9800 GT that I'm currently using. I have a Hannspree 23" main monitor running on HDMI, connected to the 9800, and a 14" HP 1530 monitor, running on the DVI port, also running on the 9800. I was curious if I could run a third monitor from the onboard video ports, or if I had to buy a new card and dual port from that.

My specs are as follows.

HP Pavilion w/ Windows 7 Home Premium
AMD Phenom(tm) 9550 Quad-Core Processor 2.20 GHz
6.00 GB of Installed Memory
64-bit Operating System

2 TB HDD space

Rated a 5.9 on the Windows Experience Index

I have no idea where to look for that.

The most I can tell you is if I simply plug a monitor into the on-board ports, it doesn't work. Is it possible to enable the on-board ports if there is a PCIE being used?

Sorry man. You need to run SLi in order to get a 3rd monitor working. Unless you wanna sell the 9800GT and get a Radeon card that supports eye finity. That's the only way you're gonna run 3 monitors on one card.

Triple monitors yes. Not an eyefinity setup. 5 series and above will have eyefinity support. nVidia cards need to be run in SLI to have 3D surround (eyefinity for nVidia cards)

Triple monitors is just having 3 screens. Games will be played full screen but still on your main monitor only. eyefinity and 3D surround are able to play a game or other full screen application over all 3 monitors not just one.
