Triple monitor setup? Update: Which graphics card?
UPDATE: Now I am wondering about getting a single GTX 650 ti boost instead of trying to SLI, since I would have to get a new power supply. Is this a decent upgrade? Or should I aim for something else?
Okay, so I have a nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti graphics card and a 32" Vizio LCD HDTV that I have been using as a monitor. After a while of using just that I decided I wanted to go the Multi-Monitor route. So I bought a 23" ASUS MX239 frameless LCD with the intent of getting another.
So, I just got my second monitor today and I am now painfully aware that I will not be able to run all three monitors at the same time with my current setup.
I would like to be able to at least run an extended desktop with all three displays (I dont care about scaling issues between the Vizio and the MX239's). I would also like to be able to play games extended onto the MX239's. It would be nice to get a higher end graphics card but I would still like the possibility of extending even further to a third ASUS MX239.
TL;DR
I have:
GeForce GTX 560 Ti - graphics card
Vizio E322VL 32" HDTV
ASUS MX239 monitor [x2]
I want:
To play games across the MX's.
To extend the desktop across all three.
To have the possibility of adding a third MX.
To not waste money.
What are your thoughts?
