Yeah, your computer is infected.
Scan with AVG Free, Spybot Search and Destroy, and Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE, those three should catch what is on your computer.

Will probably have to more than that.First, go to 'add/remove programs' and uninstall 'ToolBar888'.

Next, download Ewido http://www.ewido.net/en/download/ then set it up this way http://rstones12.geekstogo.com/ewidosetup.htm You will need this later in safe mode
Make sure to update this program.
Download ATF-Cleaner to your desktop from this link
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/19/2/ You will need it later in safe mode.

You might have a 'Worm' also so download, install and update A-squared http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/ You will need it later in safemode.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :

Restart your computer

After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;

Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;

Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".

Choose your usual account.

Run 'HijackThis' and put a check by the following entries, close all open browsers and windows and click 'fixed checked'.

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://as.starware.com/dp/search?x=w...idULTyZrR7k6Q=

O2 - BHO: ToolBar888 - {CBCC61FA-0221-4ccc-B409-CEE865CACA3A} - C:\Program Files\ToolBar888\MyToolBar.dll

O3 - Toolbar: ToolBar888 - {CBCC61FA-0221-4ccc-B409-CEE865CACA3A} - C:\Program Files\ToolBar888\MyToolBar.dll

O20 - Winlogon Notify: winjrs32 - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winjrs32.dll

Then, Run Ewido and let it delete all that it finds. Then do the same with A-squared.

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

Now, reboot and run this free online scan from 'Kaspersky' http://kaspersky.com/kos/english/kavwebscan.html
Click Accept
When the updates are finished downloading, click Next, Scan Settings
Under Scan using the following antivirus database:, select extended
Make sure the Scan Archives and Scan Mail Bases options are selected as well. Click OK
Click My Computer and wait for the scan to finish
Click Save Report As. Under Save as type:, select Text file. Save this log to your Desktop and post a copy of it here if any infections remain.

Wow.Alot of infections. Is that 'Kaspersky' scan good or what. The good news is were almost there.

First, download and install 'CCleaner Basic' here http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds.aspx

Next, disable 'System Restore'. Go to Control Panel/ System/System Restore and check the box ' Turn off system restore on all drives' click 'apply' and 'okay'.

Next, open 'CCleaner' and choose "Options", click the "Advanced" tab
Uncheck: "Only delete files older than 48 hrs.", click Ok. Click the 'Applications' tab at the top and make sure the first 4 boxes are checked under 'Firefox'.
Then run CCleaner.

Open 'HijackThis' and click the 'Mics Tools Section' and then ' Delete a File on Reboot'. Navigate to this file

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winjrs32.dll

Click open.
Hijackthis will tell you that this file will be deleted on next reboot and if you want to reboot now. Click Yes/ok
Your system must reboot now.

Once windows has finished loading, run 'CCleaner' again and then turn 'System Restore' back on and create a 'New Restore Point' by going to 'Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore'.Hopefully, this has gotten everything but to make sure, run another 'Kaspersky Online Scan"

I permanently deleted the winjrs32.dll from KillBox and removed Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.alr with Ewido along with everything else in the quarantine. A new scan is running with hopefully nothing else....

Now ewido is telling me about a vtutu.dll (adware.virtumonde). I'm going to kill it in safe mode and run a new scan. What's with all those locked objects, are they in a quarantine?

And now I've got this, I'll disable system restore...

C:\System Volume Information\_restore{A00F61E1-CADB-4E59-A6F7-0B910B62334A}\RP3\A0000032.dll Infected: Packed.Win32.Klone.g

I tried to delete vtutu.dll on a reboot, but an error message popped up in KillBox saying that PendingFileRenameOperation Registry Data has been removed by External Process. Whats up with that? I'm searching on Google.

Also, eWido is still popping up occasionally with things it's found, the latest being a hgh risk Trojan.

This is a new infection so make sure you have the latest version of 'Java' and go to 'add/remove programs' and uninstall all older versions since they still leave you suceptable to this type of infection. Also empty the 'Java Cache'.

You will need a specialty cleaning tool which is here along with instructions http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=74267

Once finished, install, update and run this free trial from Webroot Spysweeper

http://www.webroot.com/shoppingcart/tryme.php?bjpc=64011&vcode=DT14

VundoFix found nothing, I had previously run it from looking elsewhere online.

SpySweeper Reported Virtumonde (risk level 5), Trojan Agent WinLogonHook, (risk level 4), and screensavers (level3). I can't get rid of them because I'm not subscribed.

Did you use the Spysweeper link i provided or did you download it from the Webroot website. As far as i know, my link still does removal but the Webroot site only scans.

Go 2 'add/remove programs' and remove any screensavers. Most contain spyware.

Download, install and update this excellent freebie- Superantispyware here http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html

Update Ewido.

Reboot into safemode and disable your Antivirus and other spyware programs.

Run Ewido again and then Superantispyware.

Run ATF-Cleaner from safe mode.

Reboot into normal windows and run 'HJT' again and post a new log.

I think I might have the rootkit variant... as it's been found but nothing can kill the vtutu.dll file. I've tried every tool out there. RIght now I'm running Blacklight by F-Secure and I'll try waht you suggested.

Killbox isn't working for some reason. See my previous post (#9)

EDIT: Blackight didn't find anything and eWido picked up trojan agent.ny, and it was killed without a problem.

Before using 'Killbox' on it again, try going to 'Control Panel/Folder Options/View/' and tick the following option.

Show hidden files and folders

Uncheck the following option.

Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)

Click Apply and Okay.

Now try Killbox on it from Safemode.

Open 'HJT' and click 'Misc Tools/Delete a file on reboot and follow the steps to that file.Make sure you do the steps in my previous post first- show hidden files, don't protect important sustem files.

Alright, all fixed, found some stuff elsewhere on the internet (with all due respect to CF:)). Thanks for your help and one last HJTL to make sure I'm clean.
