Greetings,
A few years ago i found a decent deal on two hard drives,
Refurbished: HITACHI 2TB 7.2K 6GB/S SAS 3.5'' HARD DRIVE
Eventually I came across a few reading that said I may need a controller.
So I searched and found Intel RMS25KB080 PCI-Express 2.0 x8 Low Profile Ready SATA / SAS Integrated RAID Module, for a steal.
I installed it and tried to get my PC to recognize it. After more research I found that this care was for a server.
(Edit) I also purchased this cable: Mini SAS to 4-SATA SFF-8087 Multi-Lane Forward Breakout Internal Cable, 1.6 Feet
This is the first issue I have ever not been able to resolve on my own.
Now I have two paperweights and useless card.
Is there anything anyone may suggest?
I'm running a Msi Z270-a Pro with a i5-7600.
Windows 10 Home.
Cheers
