trouble with joining games??

why whenever i try to join online games on my pc there is only a very few amount i can join?? do i have to open ports on my router like i did for the xbox360?? or is it somthing to do with internet speed??
any ideas would be awsome! thanks heaps

Yea it sounds like you have to open the NAT like on the 360. I had the same problem.

i think it might be my net speed we are running at 512 but were upgrading to 1500.. will that be fast enough to play all games online without hassle? and will it also be the answer to my joining problem?

thanks i found my router but now i got to choose from this list the programs i want to forward ports for.. does this mean i have to do each game individualy? or is there a main port that will be like a default for all games like the xbox360 was?
