Hello, i'm new to this forum. Not sure if I am posting in the appropriate area as i'm not actually sure what is wrong with the laptop, apologise.
Ok so I have a Toshiba Equium a110-233. When I load the laptop it says -
Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\System32\c_1252.nls
When I insert the Windows XP recovery it says "Loading Ramdisc Image...." and the loading bar gets to the top and just 'freezes'. I have also tried insertingthe Windows XP Install disc and this does exactly the same. I have tested the hardrive on another laptop and it works fine, so i'm struggling to see what the problem is.
