Hello,

I have Verizon Home broadband internet and when I am downloading something (ex: Google Chrome) the speed of the download steadily decreases... it starts from about 40kbps and slows down to only a 17 kbps.. is there something wrong with my internet then ,because my pc is pretty fast... Should I call Verizon or something?...

Thanks in Advance.....

It says my download speed is 1.22 mbps ,but the pc says the speed is 40 kbps... Is there a way to speed up my internet?

My plan is 5gb of data a month for $50

But what speed package are you paying for? Sound like you may be paying for 1.5MB. If thats what you are paying for then you can only upgrade your internet speed by calling your provider and paying for a faster package.

They don't have that option... We are supposed to have 4g ,but it seems like our internet is way slower than iot should be... 40 kbps download rate is ridiculous... I've called verizion before and they had me update my device (i did this today too) ,but nothing seems to work... Any suggestions?

So you are basically using internet from your mobile provider? That depends on your signal strength and other things.

No I use Sprint as my cell carrier I use AT&T for my home phone and Verizon as my home broadband provider we use this device for our internet: Pantech 4G LTE USB Modem UML290 should i upgrade my device for my internet? :)

So basically you are using Att mobile for your internet. Like i said, this all depends on your signal strength and other things. Don't they offer dsl or cable internet in your area? Would be much better than what you are using now.
