Troubleshooting Software ?

i am doing troubleshooting/service calls as a computer tech part time, i was wondering what you guys would suggest bringing to service calls with me in the way of software (preferably free),

as an example, if i go to a call where a pc fails to boot up, what would be a good troubleshooting program that i can put on a cd to at least boot the computer and go from there?

pc / windows only, no mac

thanks for your reply,

i already have the Hirens,

i went to the linked you shared for the other one but cant seem to figure out how to download it?.....is it something you have to pay for?

Yes, it works with all windows. These cd's have multiple programs on them. Some of them are diagnostics, some are just tools, antiviruses, etc..
