Hello I'm new to this forums!:P

I trying to buy a notebook computer for my self but I just don't know what is meaning of those trubrite, brightview, ultrabright, and Xbrite screen?!! Which one is better? And what are the differences?

Thanks in advance!:D

I think alot of those "special features" are really a glossy coating on the screen of the laptop. This makes it look better in a darker room as it gives a better picture, but in sunlight/with lights around it can cause more severe glares to show up. A matte screen doesn't look quite as briliant, but it is far more resistant to glares and such.

It just depends. Basically the trubrite, xbrite, whatever is a coating they usually apply. somebody else might be able to better explain it then I. It looks better in good conditions, but outside or with lights on it can glare easier. Matte finishes (Non trubrite, etc) don't look as briliant, but they are more resistant to glares and stuff like that, and look better outside.
