Try this kinda like superpi for multi cores

wPrime is a benchmarking application designed to use a highly multithreaded approach to calculating the square-roots of large amounts of numbers (up to 32 billion at this stage!)

thats straight from the site lol

Pff just wait until ThatGuy16 comes in here and does this test.

we might aswell not bother doing these benchmarks,ThatGuy16s rig just owns :D

i dont think so
he only has C2D E8400 @ 4Ghz 1.216v but wprime is made for multi core's. so i think a high clocked quad around 3.2 will beat it.
i think im gonna go mess with my fsb some more and get 3.4 - 3.6 :D

I may push mine alittle and see what I can get. i need some better cooling . I don't think my Zalman 9700 is going to keep it cool enough. I want to go water cooling but have no idea what to buy nor can I get up the nerve too .

That cooler is fine. If you're overheating it's because of poor ventilation, not bad heatsink.

It may be that I'm not use to the quad temps which are at idle right now of (35C, 39C,35C and 30C with room temp at 23C.I have plenty of case cooling . At the moment I have 5 120mm case fans installed . 2 on the side and 1 in front are intake and 1 in the rear and 1 on top are exhaust. Thanks for the info on my cooler , I'll try OC'ing and see what happens.

i felt the exact same about watercooling. but in the end, he who dares, wins.

guys we should add a results graph based on the 1024 stability result to this post so we know who is number one in the scores

example

#1 Fred (396.107 Sec)

#2 Jimbob(401.112 Sec)
