Trying to buy a LCD Screen

I'm trying to buy a LCD Screen, but I am not sure what I'm looking for. I'm pretty much going to play games, surf the net, etc
My max price is $250 can someone direct me a good monitor?

mmmh as far as i know lcd's aren't that cheap.

this is one of the cheapest on the market comes at around €290

why do you want a lcd? and not a tft?
you can easily get a 20inch for less.

22" LCD's are fairly cheap now and have pretty good specs. Anywhere from $250. to $350. Good response time and contrast ratio. If you go to the 24" models they start to get really pricey.

Do a search on Newegg for 22" LCD widescreens. I bought the one below and it's pretty darn good for gaming.

good response time, no ghosting, and one that works your video card to the max =)

Acer AL2216Wbd Black 22" is that good for $259? what is a good responce time? what is ghosting? recommend me a video card for this monitor?
