Trying to get the cost down on this without sacrificing quality?

The areas that could come down I think are the CPU, Case, HDD, and Graphics card.

For the CPU I could probably go with a Athlon II 620 and OC.

For the case, I could go with something cheaper. I don't want to, but I might have to. I want the cable management and fans.

HDD- Could switch with a WD Caviar Blue?

Graphics- I want a 460 because I will probably be running a 1080p monitor and a 1366x768 monitor in the future. I will be video editing too. If I absolutely have to I could go with the 768MB 460.

Good choices, good call on the HAF 912, but you've linked the CPU/GOU combo twice. Is this the PSU/RAM combo you're after?

Also, the ASRock mobo is fine. The Extreme3 series stands head and shoulders above the rest of their boards, and that one allows for 8x/8x crossfire. (Or SLI with the xDevs hack) They're not great overclockers, but neither are Athlons, so no worries there.

Never been too fond of the HAF series' styling. 922 is alright but more expensive.

mobo - I suggest going for gigabyte

Asrock has better features. If you can find one with features as good as the as rock, I will go for it. I need to run a 460, possibly a PhysX card, and a black magic intensity pro.

EDIT: The parts list was $600 or so this morning :(

Here are some very good cases for much cheaper. I picked them by looking for bottom-mounted PSU's, good cable routing holes, and tie-down spots behind the mobo tray. most of them have empty fan slots, so you'll have to add some to get full airflow, but just the included ones will be fine for your rig.

Raidmax is usually awful, but these aren't, other than the lack of a top fan. The 295 is functionally better, since it supports a 180mm side fan.
 
I'm considering the Gladiator 600 and M59. Possibly the Wind Knight.

But what kind of performance Impact will going with an Athlon II 620, and a GTX 460 768?
I have concerns about the 460 because I will be using a 1920x1080 monitor with a 1366x768 Secondary.

I'm not sure what to do.
 
Anymore thoughts?

How would a 768MB 460 run games at 1080p, with a second 1366x768 monitor? What about switching the 640 for a 620? PSU? I need to get this done by thursday.
