trying to re install vista

vista wont let me know run my windows xp start up disk? it runs it but it wont let me install xp. I do not like vista so i would like to install xp again. Even when i boot from start up the f8 button wont work to agree to the terms and conditions. does this make sense to you guys?

It makes sense, but you're going to have to format your hard drive if you want to install XP again. Do you know how to do that?
 
when your computer starts press delete to go into your bios and set your computer to boot from your cd drive and then put your cd in hit F10 then enter and your computer should restart and it will say press any key to boot from cd and you should press any key that should do it.

Thats not his problem at all... Halian had the right solution.
