trying to run 'ultima 7' need help

I found some old games including ultima7 and downloaded them. I also downloaded dosbox but I still cant get the game to work. It plays the intro and that is it. I try running it under another exe. file and it tells me 'please remove your expanded memory manager'. Does anybody know how to do this? I am still fairly new to computers but learn fast. Just finished putting together my first system a couple weeks ago and it works great. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
 
Been in the bios menu and seen nothing about the memory managers. Like I said, I am very new to computer experimentation, so be gentle. BTW, running windows xp and have a AMD 3800. Any other info needed?
