Turn off Program Compatibility Assistant

does any1 know how to turn that off? i have already disabled it from starting in the service in computer management. somehow it still starts. when i check the services in task manager, it says the service is already stopped but actually its not. how do i turn it off? HELP!

Go to the run command and type "services.msc". Scroll down to "Program Compatibility Assistant" and right click and press "Properties". Then click "Stop". Then change the startup to "Disabled" or "Manual".
