turn off warning at startup ..

I have a amd quad core phenom 2 940 which runs 125w and a m2n68-am plus motherboard which is rated at 95w .. and while it will run ok gives me a warning that the processor is not compatible at startup and f1 to continue.

its an american megatrends bios .. is there any way to turn off this warning?

Probably not. Poke around the BIOS and see if there is a setting to do so or not (though I doubt it).

Agreed with the above. You can look in the bios. But I doubt there is a way to turn off a fail safe warning. You might end up in the long run, buring up some of the Chokes or Mosfets on the power phase for the CPU.
