Turtle Beach headsets

I'm looking for a good headset, don't need the mic. Mainly for BF3. I hear a lot of good things about Turtle Beach but I don't have any clue to which ones are good. I've been looking at used and they seem to go for fairly cheap. I'm looking at spending $40 max. And is surround on headsets cool or just a gimmick? TIA.

Yes, surround sound headsets are a gimmick.

For that budget, just buy some Sennheiser HD201's and a cheap desk mic.

They sounded kind of meh at first so I installed the audio drivers for my mobo, what a world of difference, happy with them.

turtle beach is good i have it. better to spend the extra money for soemthing good
