Turtle Beach PX3 Mic problem

Ok so here is the problem I am having. When I talk into the Mic I can hear myself talking thru the speakers but no one else can hear me talking. I can open the sound recorder and talk. It doesn't record sound. I can talk in games and no one can hear me talking. This all started after I reinstalled windows on this PC. My primary card is a xonar dgx but the turtle beach runs off its own set of drivers. I have the turtle beach set as my default speakers and mic and the speakers work fine. Just the mic doesn't.

Any Suggestions?

Check your microphone properties. I believe I had this problem back in the old days. Try muting the microphone and see if you can record audio.
