TV/Monitor has no sound & ATI issue?

Ok I really dont know if this is the thread to go too, but I have a Toshiba HD LCD TV 40" that I am using as a monitor. It has 3 HDMI Digital Inputs and a PC Input, but I cant seem to get any sound to come out when I use it as a monitor. I also have my xbox360 hooked to it and sound works fine with that. Any advice would be nice thank you! Ok and now on to my other problem... I have a E-machine W3502, with this inside: Windows XP Home Edition SP3 Intel Celeron D cpu 3.20GHz 533MHz FSB 512 KB L2 Cache 2GB of ram! and i just installed and added ATI XFX Radeon HD 5750 to this computer. and I was wondering... do you guys think that my computer doesnt have enough RAM, computer just seems to operate alil slow! oh and my Hard Drive is a 500GB, with over 200GB left so i know im good there! and i also clean out my hard drive with junk like every month. and got Spyware Doctor i pay for? Thank You for your time and advice?
 
The PC Input, most likely a VGA connection, doesn't cary sound to your TV. You need a separate way to connect the sound. Have a look to see what sound outputs your computer has and what inputs your TV has.

About your second question, in my opinion, your CPU might be holding you back.
 
Usually the VGA port has a sound input 1/8 jack next to it on the TV. You would use a 1/8 (Speaker cable) to 1/8 stereo cable from the speaker port on your computer to the port on your monitor. For the HDMI, you will need to check if your video card supports sound over HDMI. I think this card does but I honestly don't feel like looking. I know with my card (GTX 275) it came with a little cable that goes from the card in to a sound device, in my case my mother board (MOBO)

well only thing i see is this: PC/HDMI Audio thats it... but i was told that i need another piece of equipment then hook up some wires to that then hook it that to my PC... i just need to know what the pieces are? maybe i can go to a BestBuy or talk to a Geek Squad member here in my town! should of did that actually!! just too lazy to leave house unless i know what im talking bout.
