TV on PC

can someone help an old duffer with this; I want to hook my surround sound and my cable to my puter What all is needed to accomplish this! Cards,TV tuner???:confused:
 
Well, for cable you would need a TV Tuner, definitely, and for sound, I imagine a nice sound card, like something from Creative's X-Fi series should work, but you might have to find some converters for whatever jacks your speakers have.
 
Thanx Poh, I guess a new mobo with S connects are in order, along with TV tuner anyone want to buy my DS3!!:rolleyes:
