TV Output

Hi!

I have a big problem! I've invited a girl over tomorrow night to watch a movie I downloaded. The plan was to use TV Tool to watch it on the TV instead of sitting in front of the computer, but now TV Tool tells me it only works with nVidia graphic cards. I have a Radeon X850 Series graphic card, and I can't find any software that helps me! I don't have s-video so I've just put a cable between the computer and the TV. I'm positive it'll work if i just have the right software!

Please help me!
Thx
Oskar

you dont have s-video so you've put a cable between the comp and tv? What cable are you using? I have the x850 pro vivo and this is how i do it.

1) Connect the Vivo cable to the video card
2) COnnect the S-Video cable to the Vivo cable
3) Connect the other end of the S-Video cable to the TV
4) Go into display tab of advanced settings in display property
5) enable TV

Are you saying your TV doesn't have S video Input. If that is the case, then if you really intend to impress her; you may have to run out and buy a new TV. Or of course, you could rent the movie on DVD. I am assuming that you have a DVD player hooked to the TV.

in catalyst you can enable your tv for s-video or composit. just remeber you need to get the aduio form the computer to the TV! that means more cables.
