TV Tuner Card

I was interested in buying a TV Tuner card for my PC. HDTV would be nice, but I dont want to spend a fortune. What is the best way to capture TV? I have a cable wire in my room, is that what I will record off of?
 
I have a Hauppauge Nova T 350, Great little box, its external, got it for £80 but im sure it will be cheaper over there, like everything is:rolleyes: , Connects to a cable. not sure what cable you have over there, but you just plug it into a USB2 socket and plug in the aerial and away you go:D
